The influencer shared a video on X showing his unhinged reaction to Messi doing the Fortnite emotes. Fans were quick to react to the video of IShowSpeed (a self-confessed Cristiano Ronaldo fan) by writing "Speed can't escape Messi anywhere".

Speed's reaction to the Messi Fortnite skin reflects where he falls on the Messi vs Ronaldo debate. The YouTuber previously booed Messi being substituted on during an Inter Miami game, when the 19-year-old was dressed in an Al-Nassr shirt with 'Ronaldo' on the back. As Messi was introduced, he started jeering and screaming "Ronaldo's better!" and "Messi's finally gotten a game!"
